Hello Everybody!

I hope that you had a nice week and a safe Saint Patty’s Day without a hangover the next day.  Ours was uneventful and quiet.  We did attend an office party put on by an immigrant from Ireland….the Mulligan’s stew was awesome!  I didn’t drink…I was the designated driver…as usual…LOL.  I never trust anyone because they always say that they won’t drink…and then seem to have one or two.  I just don’t drink when I know that I am going to drive.  It just is not worth the risk!

I made a decision this week to make my life a little easier until I can get the website cleaned up.  Instead of sending out this newsletter every week….I am going to send it out every other week…or twice a month.  I will still be posting files on the website, but this will save me some time.  Here is my dilemma.  The pages that are already finished are fine, when there are new files to add.  But, every time that I add files to unfinished pages, I am doubling my work when I finally get to that page.  The holiday page is the worst.  So, this was my decision.  You will not get another newsletter until the 7th of April. 

I hope that you like the new files this week.  I do…and plan on using the birdhouse on a card for my mother.  Once I get past my camera dilemma, I will post what I made.  Camera story is below. Argh.

There is also a brochure holder file.   So, you might ask, what can I do with a brochure holder?  Well, whenever my DH and I go somewhere out of town, he collects brochures like I collect photos.  I never know what to do with those brochures and have a box where they are located.  One day, while going through this box, I ran across a Disney brochure that was in a brochure holder.  The holder has Mickey peeking over the top with his hands holding the holder on the sides.  I couldn’t create Mickey without breaking copyright laws, so I made a kitten instead.  But, don’t feel limited to the kitten.  You can go to any of the files that have a head and place the head and the hands in place of the kitten.  For that matter, you could even put flowers or leave it blank.  I am going to place my holders on the outside of the page protector…at least I am going to try this…so that when we get to the page, we can easily take the brochures out to read while looking at the photos.

Also, you will not find the Easter files on the website this week.  I uploaded those to the Yahoo Group because I haven’t touched the holiday page on the website and don’t want to add more work to transfer.  So, there will be a file on the IzzaBoutChu Yahoo Group (link at top of page) labeled Easter.

BTW….I haven’t posted photos or videos lately because I am having computer problems.  For some reason, my computer can’t recognize the driver that imports my camera card.  I made some instructional videos, using the files that are on the site, showing ways to use them.  But, they are stuck in the camera…argh.  The computer shows that it is searching for and that it is installing the “new” driver…but it never finds it.  Technology is crazy.  I need a new computer.  I don’t want to spend the money just yet though.  Research shows that purchasing a computer during “back to school” season is the best time to get a good computer with a good deal.  But, if it keeps acting up, I guess that I will have to break down and buy one before that.  Wish me luck!  LOL!

ORDERS for WPC , PDF, SVG, and MTC files:  This feature is for those of you who need a special file.  I charge for these kinds of files.  The price would be determined by the complexity of the file. 

Also, from here on in, I am listing all free files as pdf and wpc.  If you want a svg or mtc, let me know....but I will be charging $1/file.  Most programs accept pdfs.  If I list all file formats on my website, it takes way too long and takes away from the quantity and quality of the designs that I want to post in the future.  This will encourage you to learn how to import pdf if you don't already know how.  One person said that she didn't know how to use pdf for svg.....well....I made a tutorial on how to do this and it is listed on the site under VIDEOS.
