I don’t know about any of you, but I like to make my Christmas cards and have been searching for ideas.  This week devoted most of  my time and attention to different types of card folds.  I almost bought this expensive book that was all about these folds when I remember Split Coast Stampers.  They rock!  So, anyway, I referenced them a lot this week in getting ideas so that I could find tutorials.  None of the cards that I list are decorated.  They are the basic cards with a tutorial on how to fold/construct them.  A lot of you are naturals at decorating these cards.  If you are not, then stay tuned.  Next month I am hoping to put things that you can use to decorate your Christmas cards onto the website.  But, for now…it is the basics.

The other thing that I did this week was to use the art tool to doodle.  I love doodling.  So, you will find some new things along those lines as well.  Drawing on the computer is so much easier than by hand.  It is easier to measure and align things.  So, I am hoping that there will be something here for everyone this week.


I added Halloween files  to the Seasonal section this week because that seems to be the one that people are looking for.  If your interests are not being represented, then write to me at Izzaboutchutoo@yahoo.com and voice your opinion.

 I added more leaves to the seasonal section.  Don’t limit them to fall though.  If you keep them green, then you can layer them on bare trees or floral arrangements.  So often, we look at things and see what is represented by the artist or inventor.  Think outside of their box and find ways to use things that suit you and you alone.

My Prayer Life:  Since it is October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I decided to tell my story of how I encountered breast cancer and my journey.  Hope that it can serve to be inspirational to those of you who have encountered this disease that that can be a source of hope for you.  Medicine has come a long way since my encounter….but my ending was truly a miracle.  Hope that you will take the time to read the story. J

ORDERS for WPC , PDF, SVG, and MTC files:  This feature is for those of you who need a special file.  I charge for these kinds of files.  The price would be determined by the complexity of the file. 

Also, from here on in, I am listing all free files as pdf and wpc.  If you want an svg or mtc, let me know....but I will be charging $1/file.  Most programs accept pdfs.  If I list all file formats on my website, it takes way too long and takes away from the quantity and quality of the designs that I want to post in the future.  This will encourage you to learn how to import pdf if you don't already know how.  One person said that she didn't know how to use pdf for svg.....well....I made a tutorial on how to do this and it is listed on the site under VIDEOS.
