Hello Newsletter Subscribers,

Boy, I was in a slump when it came to new ideas, but all of you brought me out of the creative doldrums that I was suffering from.  The ideas poured into Izzaboutchutoo@yahoo.com.  I have been listening to your ideas and suggestions.  Some of you stated that you didn’t know if you were asking too much of me.  Well, the answer to that is:  I just don’t know yet.  I don’t know what I can or cannot do.  The only way that I will find out is too try.  I chuckled when someone noted one of my videos showed off the mistakes that I made while doing a project.  I don’t edit those out.  You learn as I learn.  I am not perfect and I do make tons of mistakes…and sometimes those mistakes turn out to become “happy mistakes.”  We will see what the future brings.

Speaking of the future, I had been becoming bored with making mere single files.  So, I am thinking about launching another website that will entice the tradigital paper engineers among you.  I know that most of you call this hybrid scrapbooking….but I am a traditionalist and like the word tradigital better.  Some of you might not know what this means.  It is a combination of traditional scrapbooking/cardmaking with digital printouts.  It is no longer a new concept.  It has been around for some time now.  I am hoping to enlist printed papers with the regular layouts.  I will be making simple videos to accompany these files initially for those of you who don’t have a clue yet.  LOL…actually…I don’t have a clue most of the time in the digital sense…but I am learning and will share as I learn.  I don’t know when I will launch the new website because right now what I have in digital prints is very limited.  So, in order to be able to do what I want to do, I will be cutting back big time on this current site.  I usually give you approximately 30 new files per week.  I am going to cut back to 15 files per week.  But, I will be building the other site as I do this.  When you go to the new site, you might see a lot of the older files there.  That is because I am not going to re-invent the wheel.  There are a ton of files on the current site that will lend themselves well to the digital world.  So, hang onto your boots, because you are about to enter a tradigital world in the near future.  In the meantime, hone your skills on using print and cut.  Be sure to watch the video that I made to see what is in store.  Under the notations section under the video, I listed a search on You Tube for print and cut….look for you machine and program…and get cracking because it is time to do an unlimited amount of creating on your machine.  Have fun learning!

On another note, as I had stated in the Yahoo Group, I am collecting dust on the website.  They finally gave me links that I can use with my pages.  It would be wonderful if I could open a new page and copy/paste what is already there onto a new page...no such luck….and I did try.  So, I have to upload everything all over again onto the newly assigned pages.  It took me two days to do the People and Their Things tab alone.  But, it will be easier to find things now.  Talk about greedy though…I find myself thinking….boy, it would be nice if they had a key word search.  But, I am grateful for this new addition.  So, to reiterate, when you look on the People and Their Things tab…you will now see words.  Click on the category that you want and it will now take you to that page.  You no longer have to scroll through ALL of the categories on one page.  So, pardon the dust as I continue to renovate.  I might have it done by next year.  My husband did some math….I have been doing this for 6 months now.  If there are 4 weeks per month…that is 24 weeks….30 files per week…720 files X 3 formats = 2,160 files total uploaded…that need to be moved….LOL.  It will definitely take time!  So, please pardon my dust!

And, for those of you who are new to this newsletter, until I can get my files re-filed, when you click on the links beneath the description (towards the bottom of this newsletter) it will take you to the page where the new file is located.  Per category on that page, you will usually find the new files towards the bottom of the category.  For example, if you go to the sports page and I tell you that the file is under fishing, you would go to the sports page, scroll down until you see fishing…and then scroll to the bottom of that section.  Yeah…it is a pain…but it was all that I had to work with at the time that I started doing this.  It will take time to redo as I stated above.

Oh yeah….one more thing:  I was able to update and fix the tab MY FAVORITE SITES.  But, after reading the posts in the Izzaboutchu Yahoo Groups…I think that I need to update it again.  All of you posted some great sites that are soon to become favorites for me!

The files were miscellaneous this week.    If your interests are not being represented, then write to me at Izzaboutchutoo@yahoo.com and voice your opinion.

If  you have prayer requests, please send them to this address: IzzaBoutChuToo@yahoo.com

In the subject area, type PRAYER REQUEST.  Do not send last names.  Only first names and brief descriptions of the situation.  God knows what is going on! :-)  I will add them to my prayer list!  I also ask that if the prayer is answered that you let me know so that we can give Him Praise!

ORDERS for WPC , PDF, SVG, and MTC files:  This feature is for those of you who need a special file.  I charge for these kinds of files.  The price would be determined by the complexity of the file.

Also, from here on in, I am listing all free files as pdf and wpc.  If you want a svg or mtc, let me know....but I will be charging $1/file.  Most programs accept pdfs.  If I list all file formats on my website, it takes way too long and takes away from the quantity and quality of the designs that I want to post in the future.  This will encourage you to learn how to import pdf if you don't already know how.  One person said that she didn't know how to use pdf for svg.....well....I made a tutorial on how to do this and it is listed on the site under VIDEOS.

3-D:  2-1/2 inch box.  This would make a cute photo box…just print out 2-1/4 inch square photos and glue onto the box before you put it together.  You could put it on your desk or place a surprise in it.  For Valentine’s Day, you could place photos of the two of you throughout your life together and then add the gift…that would make a nice bridal favor or anniversary gift too…sentimental and inexpensive!
