Newsletter #33
Http://IzzaBoutChu.yolasite.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IzzaBoutChu/ http://tinyurl.com/Opal-s-Channel
Hello Everyone,
I hope that you are all well as you read this Newsletter. For those of you who prayed for my family since my request two weeks ago in the last newsletter, I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. My daughter-in-law had her gallbladder surgery, while pregnant, with excellent results. The morning sickness has started to subside. We were so worried about her and the baby…but they are both doing fine…praise God! My niece is getting a better grip on the identity theft and unfortunately, found out that her identity thief was the son of dear friends of her parents….heartache all around on this one. It just goes to show that you can never be too careful with your private matters. She thought of him like a brother and obviously, he didn’t feel the same about her or this would never have happened. But, he is now in jail and she is working on getting her credit scores back up. It will take time though. I am going to write in the blog about this further, because the day before yesterday, I thought that my own identity was at risk…and am not even sure at this point if I am out of the woods yet. So, keep an eye on the blog. You need to be aware of what can happen to your identity. It will be under “My Life”.
I am still working on the website to make it more user- friendly. I am up to “Sports”…going alphabetically. After I get this done, I will start working on the “print & cut” site. I hope to have that one up and running by late summer.
Someone had asked what happened to me last week. For those of you who may have missed one of my past newsletters, I have decided to post these newsletters every two weeks instead of every week. This is allowing me more time to finish updating the website.
This week, I worked on card folds. Oh, I am sure that you may have some of these that you make on your scoring boards, but decided to design them for the cutters anyway, so that you can do mass production if you wish. I mostly worked on basic cards this time including window cards and gatefold cards. In the future, I will start designing borders for these basic cards so that you can go to the site, choose a basic card, and then whatever else you want to build on top of it. If I design one card each time, it is more limiting in what you can do with it. So, please have patience with me as I do this. I will also post a video showing you how to use these features.
I also have a Sand Bucket Booklet (see photo below) project that someone had requested in the Pazzles Craft Room. She had seen one on a blog and wanted to make it. Mine will be slightly different since I don’t want to copy…and I am making it practical because my granddaughter and her mother will be visiting at the end of May….it will become a “book” for her….but you don’t have to use the designs for a book….just use them however you want for your scrapbook pages, cards, or whatever. I would love to see your finished projects in the Yahoo Groups. We can all learn from one another’s styles. So, enjoy the card files and the sand bucket project. Have fun crafting!
If you have prayer requests, please send them to this address: IzzaBoutChuToo@yahoo.com
In
the subject area, type PRAYER REQUEST. Do
not send last names. Only first names and brief descriptions of the
situation. God knows what is going on! :-) I will add them to my
prayer list! I also ask that if the prayer is answered that you let me know so that we can give Him Praise!
ORDERS for WPC , PDF, SVG, and MTC files: This feature is for those of you who need a
special file. I charge for these kinds of files. The price would be
determined by the complexity of the file.
Also, from here on in, I am listing all free files as pdf and wpc.
If you want a svg or mtc, let me know....but I will be charging $1/file.
Most programs accept pdfs. If I list all file formats on my website, it
takes way too long and takes away from the quantity and quality of the designs
that I want to post in the future. This will encourage you to learn how
to import pdf if you don't already know how. One person said that she
didn't know how to use pdf for svg.....well....I made a tutorial on how to do
this and it is listed on the site under VIDEOS.

If
you have any ideas for files, please let me know! I love to design and your suggestions let me
know that I am not doing this in vain.
If you have an idea, just send an email with IDEA in the subject area.
Please send ALL correspondence to the IzzaBoutChuToo@yahoo.com
email address. My Opal777 email address is a personal one. I have
an elderly mother who ails from time to time...and I need that one kept open
for personal communication. Thank you for understanding in advance.
:-)
HAPPY SCRAPPING!! See you next week!
