Hello Everyone & Happy Summer!

Summer is in full swing by looking at the temperatures outside.  The nineties are here to stay for a while.  People are basking at the beach….and there is a tropical storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico.  Yes, summer is in full swing.  Thank goodness, I have my gardens going and don’t have to go out there except in the mornings and evenings to water. 

So, it is time to hibernate in the state of Florida, LOL.  We are out in the winter enjoying the climate while northerners hibernate in their warm homes…it is the opposite here.  We hibernate from the heat during the summer.

So, this time I concentrated on animals of the sea.  For those of you who will be visiting the beach this summer, here are some things to decorate your album pages.  Now, my suggestion is to not stop there.  Use the animals, but if you want them to be quirky as many of you seem to like, then go to the your accessories stash and put a hat on a dolphin or sunglasses on a whale.  You wouldn’t even need a cutting file for those.  Circles connected by rectangles would make glasses and a square and a rectangle would make a hat….just round the corners freehand with your scissors.  Use your imagination.  You don’t even need to use the entire body of these animals.  You could cut them at the waste and then tuck them beneath the top of photo.  Put smiling faces on them.  Or, you might want to cut them all out as silhouettes to make a more serious layout.  Your only limitation is your own imagination…and even then….if you can’t think of anything…there are tons of ideas on the Internet.  So, don’t limit yourselves to an individual file.  As I have said in the past….think of these files as building blocks…layer them with other files that are accessible to you.  Have fun!

ORDERS for WPC , PDF, SVG, and MTC files:  This feature is for those of you who need a special file.  I charge for these kinds of files.  The price would be determined by the complexity of the file. 

Also, from here on in, I am listing all free files as pdf and wpc.  If you want a svg or mtc, let me know....but I will be charging $1/file.  Most programs accept pdfs.  If I list all file formats on my website, it takes way too long and takes away from the quantity and quality of the designs that I want to post in the future.  This will encourage you to learn how to import pdf if you don't already know how.  One person said that she didn't know how to use pdf for svg.....well....I made a tutorial on how to do this and it is listed on the site under VIDEOS.
