Hello
Newsletter Subscribers,
This was a week for fishing
files. I placed a variety of 40
something files this past week. I
stopped counting. Hope that you will find something that you like!
On the PRAYER TAB,
I talk about how we can have something right under our noses and never notice
until sometimes it is too late to acknowledge.
How many times have you gone to the store to buy an ingredient for a
recipe only to find it in the back of the pantry or cabinet later? It can be so frustrating sometimes. But, this article talks about insurance…how
sometimes insurance can bless us during trying times…or how in my case, it
failed me. Read the article and you will
understand what I am talking about.
Also, if you have prayer requests, please send them to this address: IzzaBoutChuToo@yahoo.com
In the subject area, type PRAYER REQUEST. Do not send last names. Only
first names and brief descriptions of the situation. God knows what is
going on! :-) I will add them to my prayer list! I also ask that if
the prayer is answered that you let
me know so that we can give Him Praise!
On the MY
LIFE TAB, I relate my close encounter with another car….he
literally ran me off of the road and I relay how God alone sees the bigger
picture. Sorry…this is the same article
that I had up last week. I was so into
the files that I never got around to this tab!
CHAT ABOUT
PAZZLES:
Remember that this is not JUST for Pazzle owners. You can meet with your long distance friends
and discuss your projects here.
ORDERS for WPC , PDF, SVG, and MTC files: This feature is for those of you who need a
special file. I charge for these kinds of files. The price would be
determined by the complexity of the file.
Also, from here on in, I am listing all free files as pdf and wpc.
If you want an svg or mtc, let me know....but I will be charging $1/file.
Most programs accept pdfs. If I list all file formats on my website, it
takes way too long and takes away from the quantity and quality of the designs
that I want to post in the future. This will encourage you to learn how
to import pdf if you don't already know how. One person said that she
didn't know how to use pdf for svg.....well....I made a tutorial on how to do
this and it is listed on the site under VIDEOS.
Videos: Nothing new here this
week…again….I focused on files this week.
I was driven for some reason…LOL.
Some weeks I am driven to do one thing…while other weeks I am driven to
other things. I had a problem at the
nursing home that tied me up…as you will see if you read the Prayer tab.
Gallery: I changed the GALLERY
CHALLENGE to just GALLERY in case any of you wanted to post your projects. Just send a picture and details to izzaboutchutoo@yahoo.com
I am hoping to start posting some of my stuff to share there in the near future. I have too many projects going on and not enough time to scan them…LOL…and I am sure that you can all relate.
These are the FREE files that I added last week:
This Week's Featured Files: SPORTS: FISHING
There are lots of files concerning fishing!
I am always reading where someone is saying that there aren’t enough
“men” files out there. I don’t know if
you r honey is a fisherman or not…but that is the theme of this week. Check out the files even if he isn’t because
you might find something that can be adapted to serve another purpose. Learn to think outside of the box!
Other new files:
Animals: 3 silly looking birds.
These were simple to make and I had a lot of fun doing this file.
Critters & Things: butterfly with a swirl
Cards & Envelopes: nothing new this week
Christian or Jewish: nothing new this week
Decorations, Swirls, & Such: nothing new this week
Fantasy: nothing new this week
Flowers: flower bud…twist and curl
Food: nothing new this week
Holidays/Seasonal: nothing new this week
Lace & Corners: nothing new this week
Mats & Overlays: Dragonflies, butterfly garden, lattice frame
People: nothing new this week
Sports: fishermen, fishing pole, basket, lure, fisherman’s hat, boat, boat seat, canoe and paddle, titles, fish, etc.
Things at Home: nothing new this week
Weather: nothing new this week
Wedding: Celtic Knot
3-D: *****New Category***** Cake or Pie Box, 2 different sizes of crayon boxes, and a photo wheel. I made the larger crayon box so that I can cover my grandchildren’s crayon boxes with these which will be decorated and have their names on them. I think that they will enjoy these…I just wanted to share. The smaller box is the size that kids get when they go to parties….hint…hint….next week’s category.
Teacher Tools: ****New Category**** I started this tab to help teachers with cut budgets. I am a retired teacher and remember how much of my income went right back into the classroom. I had homeless kids in my class….and how could a teacher send them home hungry or dirty?! So, we teachers always do what we have to do to improve the quality of life for “our kids”. That can put such a dent in our own budgets. Plus, teachers often have to decorate their classrooms out of their own pockets too. Those charts in the teacher stores can really add up. So, this section is for you teachers who need it.
This week, I have a traffic light for behavioral monitoring
as well as a duty school bus. The files
are simple enough to throw together, and yet they can easily be adapted to meet
your needs. Also, in this tab, there are
sites that offer free files, etc. I
checked them out before passing them along.
There were a few that I almost included until I found out that you had
to sign up for something…and I didn’t want any of you to have to do that. These sites are FREE. The only problem that I have is that my
(free) server doesn’t offer free access to put up html websites that you touch
and go to. You will have to copy and
paste into your browser. I am sorry for
the inconvenience, but as I said…I am retired…so I too need the free stuff.
Next Week's Featured Files will be Party
things! It is back to school time
and you will be getting ready to share favors with your child’s (or
grandchild’s) classmates. There will be
some 3-D things, as well as party embellishments…mostly basis stuff. I have been doing a lot of misc stuff this
week…whatever looked interesting. I
started out with the party theme and soon realized that aside for horn blowers
and balloons, cupcakes and cakes…those are pretty standard…and I didn’t know
what else to make. I am not allowed to
share cartoon characters without breaking copyright laws…so I had to avoid
those. But…I have lots of other
interesting things to share. Something
for most everyone….next week!
If you have any ideas for files, please let me know! I love to design and your suggestions let me
know that I am not doing this in vain.
If you have an idea, just send an email with IDEA in the subject area.
Please send ALL correspondence to the IzzaBoutChuToo@yahoo
email address. My Opal777 email address is a personal one. I have
an elderly mother who ails from time to time...and I need that one kept open
for personal communication. Thank you for understanding in advance.
:-)
HAPPY SCRAPPING!! See you next week!
