newsletter #8
Http://IzzaBoutChu.yolasite.com
Hello Newsletter Subscribers,
Can you believe that it is already SEPTEMBER?! I cannot believe that it is already Labor Day
weekend! We are on the backside of the
year already and now that the back to school revelry has come and gone, as I
walked into some of my favorite stores, I have seen Autumn, Halloween,
Thanksgiving and Christmas bunched together within 2 or 3 aisles and it has
been driving me crazy. Living here in Florida, we don’t get the different seasons like some of you do. So, I decorate the house to reflect the
seasons, like taking off the light blue pillow covers to reveal the burnt
orange pillows underneath. For me it is
a visual reference of the seasons so that I can keep track….but when I walk
into these stores and see them all bunched up together, it causes me to have total
brain freeze. So, I will try to keep the
new files in line with the seasons as they come, unless you request otherwise.
This week was about frames and pirates, though not in a related way. I didn’t add as many files this week as I am
slowly cleaning up the questionable ones that I had mentioned last week. This takes time and I will probably have
those switched out by next week. It
isn’t that there is really anything wrong with the files, but they have too
many construction points. So, I am eliminating
those construction points from the files.
We beta testers just got the new plug in from Pazzles eliminating the problems that we had found from the update that will be going out to Pro users…and that problem with the nodes has all but disappeared. Until it was brought to my attention, I hadn’t even realized that this was happening to my files. But, I was happy to be a beta team member for this great company…and that is what beta team members do….look for everything wrong and good with a new product so that the bugs can be worked out. I always learn so much when I do these types of testing. I used to do this professionally when I worked for the school system. I always seemed to be nominated for these sorts of things. Anyway, I am digressing. Those questionable files are being addressed. And, Pazzle Inspiration Studio Owners, there is a video under the video section, showing you an easy way to erase those construction points. It would be worth your while to learn to do this, not only for my files, but for any other files that you might download or purchase. It is one step to making your cuts work better. I wish that I knew how to do this in the other software so that I could help out there….if any of you know of a video that teaches this method in the other softwares, please bring it to my attention so that I can share the link with all of you. Instead of avoiding these types of files, let’s learn how to clean and use them.
Prayer TAB: I am in Love…and I am not just talking about
my husband. I am having another affair
that is blossoming…and my husband approves!
J It has been making a new person out of me! However, this new love can cause problems in
other relationships…read on if you are interested in my love affair!
If you have prayer requests, please send them to this address: IzzaBoutChuToo@yahoo.com
In the subject area, type PRAYER REQUEST. Do not send last names. Only
first names and brief descriptions of the situation. God knows what is
going on! :-) I will add them to my prayer list! I also ask that if
the prayer is answered that you let
me know so that we can give Him Praise!
CHAT ABOUT
PAZZLES:
I wish that would all utilize this tab.
So, we will see what happens here.
I am scheduling times for your different interests to see if that will
make you peek in to see what is going on…or not!
Tuesday 7 PM Eastern Time: What should we do with all of these cutting files? Forum on how to use what we already have before collecting more! Are we file junkies, or do we use them too? How? How are you organizing them so that you can find them? That is an advantage over the cartridges…which make you are subject to their organizational strategies or lack of….but you can have easy access if you file correctly. What are you doing to make your cutting life easier? I see a video opportunity here. Maybe I will show you my file system…and maybe you can show me what to do differently and vice versa!
ORDERS for WPC , PDF, SVG, and MTC files: This feature is for those of you who need a
special file. I charge for these kinds of files. The price would be
determined by the complexity of the file.
Also, from here on in, I am listing all free files as pdf and wpc.
If you want an svg or mtc, let me know....but I will be charging $1/file.
Most programs accept pdfs. If I list all file formats on my website, it
takes way too long and takes away from the quantity and quality of the designs
that I want to post in the future. This will encourage you to learn how
to import pdf if you don't already know how. One person said that she
didn't know how to use pdf for svg.....well....I made a tutorial on how to do
this and it is listed on the site under VIDEOS.
Videos: nothing new this week
Gallery: I changed the GALLERY
CHALLENGE to just GALLERY in case any of you wanted to post your projects. Just send a picture and details to izzaboutchutoo@yahoo.com
I would like to see some of your work that you have made using the files listed in the IzzaBoutChu! Site. Please share!
These are the FREE files that I added last week:

http://izzaboutchu.yolasite.com/wpc-and-pdf-country-rodeo.php
Decorations, Swirls, & Such: swirl oval can be used on the front of a card or for just about anything. Don’t cut it too small though as it is delicate.

Dinosaurs: Nothing new this week
Fantasy: Pirates have invaded! This is not just about pirates themselves though…it is about the stuff that is associated with pirates. I am about to do a page for my husband, who is a retired sailor…and who has always been fascinated on the history of pirates. I didn’t necessarily want PIRATES IN YOUR FACE literally….but wanted to “suggest” the idea of pirates. So, I made files associated with pirates that include swords, a treasure chest, skull and bones, spy glass, anchor, compass, a ship, and of course for those of you who want a more literal meaning…a pirate.

Flowers: Old metal watering can. I would use the metallic silver for this one.

Paper and files: I am reposting this from last week because I have not heard from any of you as to whether or not you are interested in these types of files or not.
****new section**** This is a new section that I am experimenting with. Depending on your response will determine as to whether I will make more of these in the future. Even if you don’t like the design for this week, if you have the means, I would appreciate hearing from you as to whether or not you were able to download it properly or not. What I am attempting to do here is to make paper and embellishments to match. You would have to print out the paper. If you do not have a wide format printer, the pdf is in an 8X8 format that could be printed on a regular printer. This week has a Parisian Flair to it. There is an emblem file on emblem paper. There will be an emblem printed on the paper…and then you can layer the cut file over it to get a layered shadow effect. There is also a poodle on the accompanying page….oh yea…some edged lace too! Ooh-la-la!

Party Things: Nothing new this week.
http://izzaboutchu.yolasite.com/wpc-and-pdf-party-things.php
Mats & Overlays: Lots of frames…..from very simple to ones with swirls. These have been made so that they will cover the edges of a 4X6 photo. These are not mats. They were meant to be placed over the photo. But, hey, you use them however you like. You can ungroup them and erase the centers to create mats if you wish.
http://izzaboutchu.yolasite.com/wpc-and-pdf-mats-and-overlays.php
People: A Vintage boot. I actually have this boot in ivory from a ‘few’ years ago….when they were back in style. I keep hoping that it will make another come back because I really like it. (scroll down to accessories)

Sports: I just realized that with back to school and fall….I need to make some football files…maybe next week.
Steampunk/Antique/Vintage: *****New Tab***** To be honest, these are not new files, but another way to categorize what is already on the site. There had been a new interest in this type of file. I am just making it easier to find these types of files. There are a couple of new ones here though: a mechanical engineering protractor and a delicate diamond overlay (wouldn’t use a new mat for this one because it might be hard to get off of the mat without tearing)
http://izzaboutchu.yolasite.com/pdc-and-wpc-steampunk-antique-vintage.php
Things at Home: vintage vase paper piecing
Transportation: ****New category****Planes, bus, helicopter and layered space shuttle

Weather: nothing new this week

Teacher Tools: nothing new this week…but lots of stuff that you can use in the Back to School section!
Teachers…email me at izzaboutchutoo@yahoo.com to tell me what you are looking for. If I have it, I can share it….or perhaps design something for you.
If you have any ideas for files, please
let me know! I love to design and your
suggestions let me know that I am not doing this in vain. If you have an idea, just send an email with
IDEA in the subject area.
Please send ALL correspondence to the IzzaBoutChuToo@yahoo

an elderly mother who ails from time to time...and I need that one kept open
for personal communication. Thank you for understanding in advance.
:-)
HAPPY SCRAPPING!! See you next week!
